In order to maximize multiplier effects, a training, which was initially planned to be for students only, was organized also for teachers. The participating teachers had expressed interest for such training during the multiplier events organized by TUGAB. The training for teachers was organized on 21.11.2019 at the Robotics Lab. 15 teachers from 7 schools from 7 different Bulgarian towns participated:
-Vocational High School of Electrical Engineering and Electronics – Gorna Oryahovitsa
-Vocational High School of Mechanical Engineering – Pleven
-Vocational High School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering "Gen. Bachvarov" - Sevlievo
-Vocational High School of Nuclear Energy "I. Kurchatov" – Kozloduj
-Vocational High School of Electronics “John Atanasov” – Stara Zagora (DISCOVER partner)
-Vocational technical High School “Iv. Raynov” – Yambol
-Vocational High School “St.Ivan Rilski – Radnevo
The training was based on the DISCOVER outputs and ended with a hands-on individual assignment. At mentioned, Robotics Clubs are being opened or are already opened at 5 of these schools. In addition, 5 trainings for 129 students were organized at the schools themselves. The project team brought the Lego MindStorms sets in order to enable demonstrations and hands-on activities.
